In an increasingly complex and challenging world of construction, only the best people will be able to deliver the performance necessary for success time after time. Professional Builders are both highly qualified and experienced.
The designation MNIOB Member, The Nigerian Institute of Building is an accolade, which tells the world that its bearers are professionals in the field of building production management, construction, and maintenance of buildings and project management.
These corporate members having earned the right to apply for full registration with CORBON after which they are designated as Fully Registered Builders, a title, which puts them at par with other construction professionals like architects, engineers, quantity surveyors etc.
Becoming a member of the Institute provides many benefits, and the Institute provides routes to membership for anyone with the right aptitude, whether just starting out in the industry or already well established, by gaining the required qualifications, relevant practical and managerial experience.
For those who have excelled in their career, there is a further membership class Fellowship of The Institute of Building (FNIOB). This is the highest class of membership and is only awarded to those who hold very responsible positions in their chosen career, who have brought distinction to Building Production Management, Construction or Maintenance, Project Management and who have added to the prestige of the Institute.
There are five classes of Non-Corporate Memberships, which include: Graduate, Associate, Licentiate, Technician, and Students members.
