Article: WHO IS A REGISTERED BUILDER

A registered Builder is a person who has received an approved standard of professional training and practice in building and found competent after due examination and his/her name is entered into the register of the Council.

The Federal Government had approved within the professional scale of fees, for consultants in the construction industry for Registered Builders to perform as consultants in the following areas among others, Building Construction, Project Management, Building Maintenance, Building Surveying Facility Management, Reactivation of abandoned projects, Feasibility and Viability Studies, Litigation and Arbitration, Variation and Fluctuation, Resident Supervision, Prime Consultancy, etc.

WHERE CAN A REGISTERED BUILDER BE USEFUL?

A registered Builder could be engaged in the following areas: construction Industry, Educational Institutions, Banks, Finance, Insurance, Housing Corporation, Military Establishments, Oil Industry, three tiers of Government and their agencies, etc.

HOW CAN A PROFESSIONAL BUILDER BE ENGAGED?

He could be engaged either as a consultant or employed as a full time Registered Builder in the areas stated above.
